It’s said, power comes from walkin’ away,

mingled with some pain from letting go.

It’s not as simple as they say,

when you’re walking off alone, into the unknown.

You feel you’re falling off the deep end,

can’t imagine what you’re needing.

All alone and tangled up,

the after effects of this broken thing called love.

It goes so fast, watch out, you’ll miss it.

it’s calling out, are you listening?

So many look alikes and wanna be’s,

it’s hard to see what you need when you think you see it.

So fall asleep alone again tonight,

dreaming of the right one by your side.

Falling for fools with the right words,

who don’t have a clue of what your really worth.
