Superman’s whole world blew up,
his mom and-dad both died.
The man of steel is bulletproof,
yet kryptonite can take his life.
his inner strength and faith remains,
he believes people are still worth saving.
He sacrifices his own happiness,
that kind of power is amazing!
Batman also lost it all,
when he was just a child.
Aided and loved by Alfred,
his identity, now beguiled.
To know him- makes him vulnerable,
at risk, to be himself.
he gives his life and sacrifices
for everybody else.
